Is working at google worth it reddit I'm really glad I did. In conversation, it might be a little easier to say you work with Google, but your online presences (FB, LinkedIn, etc) shouldn't say you work at Google. This went on for weeks. The google certs are like the “gold standard” of certifications. So, yes as a home internet provider, Google Fiber is definitely worth it (from a value perspective + from a stability and reliability perspective). It’s heavily bureaucratic. FOR ALL THOSE STILL WAITING: Take this with a heavy grain of salt, but I have a SWE friend in Google that is close to (but does not work directly with) recruiting. You can still work at Google, but it most likely won't be a highly paid position, and it might be as a contractor. Really like aporoach from google that teaches the thought process of analytics.
